Multiple Stepper Motor Control

Technical Specifications

Serial Interface

All data and commands are handled through serial interface (8,N,1).
Communication rates from 300 to 115,200 baud.

Analog I/O

Input impedance of measured circuit: <10K ohms
11 channels (10 brought out to terminal strip pads) 0-5 VDC regulable, single ended.
Sample rates to 1250 sps transferred to the computer (8 bit) at 115,2000 baud.

Digital I/O

8 I/O TTL compatible pins organized in 1 port (PA) can be configured as INPUT or OUTPUT on a pin by pin basis.
Direct read back of all digital outputs.

Pulse Width Modulation

10-10,000 pps, 0-100% duty cycle in 1% steps.

Stepper Motor Control

Step rates from 10 to 3,300 steps/sec
Monophasic/Biphasic and Half step operation.

Power Supply

The ST board contains a 7805 regulator capable of supplying up to 1 Amp at 5VDC that can be used to power external circuitry. A 6.5 – 9V, 500 mA adapter is recommended.

PC communication

A DB9 connector on the ST board can be linked to the serial port of a computer or terminal.

Dynamic Library

Dynamic Link Library in 16 and 32 bit versions.
