Independent control of up to Sixteen Stepper Motors through One serial port (RS-232C) of any computer or RS-232 link. With four on-board drivers, the ST400NT will work with practically any stepper motor up to two amps and 45 volts at a step rate of between 16 and 8,500 steps per second.

The RMV856 is a high-performance stepper motor controller IC that provides all the tools for performing sophisticated motion control, in a quick and easy way. An asynchronous serial port provides the control link between the microcontroller or host computer and the IC.

The SPORT232-ST Stepper Motor Control Board is designed for multi stepper motor control through a PC, PLC or self stand alone mode (depending of the internal model). The board has been designed with a chopper Driver 50 mA to 2000 mA adjustable by software.

In addition, in same models the SPORT232-ST provides stand alone capabilities. In adittion four analog channels are implemented with signal conditiioning embedded.

A Dynamic Link Library for Windows XX, and Linux are supported, also LabView.

Trough its versatility the SPORT232-ST can be controlled trough a PLC with serial port incorporated.
